Do I still need to book in advance for the entrance?

It is currently no longer mandatory to book in advance. For a good flow, we still keep the online sales on time slots, but if you can’t buy online, you can also do that here at the cash register. So without booking in advance!

Are there any rules related to corona?

At the moment there are no more restrictions regarding corona.

Until when is the festival open this season?

‘t Veluws Zandsculpturenfestijn is open from April 1, 2022 to December 17, 2022.

We can’t buy the tickets online, what now?

It is currently no longer mandatory to buy online, but still advice. If this does not work, you can simply buy the tickets at the box office. Reservation is not necessary.

We have a discount card. How can we use it?

There is a CODE on the discount cards, which you can enter during the online order under PROMOTION CODE. The relevant discount will then be processed. If no code is mentioned, you can hand it in at the cash register when you buy the tickets there.

Is ‘t Veluws Zandsculpturenfestijn wheelchair accessible?

Yes, just like the Sculpture Garden and the furniture store, the sand sculpture festival is wheelchair accessible. The paths are paved and wide enough for a wheelchair or scooter. Wheelchair toilets are also available on site.

Is there enough parking space?

Yes, of course! In addition, parking is FREE.

How long does the viewing take?

On average, a visit to just the sand sculptures takes about 2 hours. Of course, the visit varies from person to person. One watches the sand images very carefully and pays attention to all the details, while the other has seen it faster. In addition to the sand sculptures, there is also the Sculpture Garden (accessible free of charge) with a wood sculpture exhibition and catering.

Are dogs also welcome?

Dogs are welcome, provided they are on a leash. We would like to point out that some people have a fear of large dogs. We therefore ask you to take this into account.

Is the sand sculpture festival covered?

Yes, the largest part (approx. 2/3) of ‘t Veluws Zandsculpturenfestijn is covered, so it can also be done when it rains. But… you can also admire sand sculptures outside and when the weather is nice you can use the outdoor terrace.

Is the museum annual card, CJP pass or (Friends) lottery pass valid for you?

No, unfortunately these are not valid with us.

Is the festival also suitable for the elderly?

Yes, all sights are within a short walking distance of each other and the trails are easily accessible. There are several points on the site where you can sit for a while.

Have the sculptures not been rained out?

The sand sculptures are provided with a special layer of varnish. This protects them against rain and hail. If something is damaged, it will be repaired immediately by a carver (sand artist). Most damage is still caused by the fact that people cannot keep their hands off the images.
