General terms and conditions for the contest β Sand Sculptures Garderen (zandsculpturen.nl)
1. Organization
1.1. This contest is organized by Zandsculpturen Garderen (hereinafter: "Organizer").
1.2. The contest is offered via zandsculpturen.nl and/or associated online channels.
2. Participation
2.1. Participation is possible during the period stated on the competition page.
2.2. Participation is free of charge and takes place by completing and submitting the participation form truthfully and in full.
2.3. A maximum of one entry per person is permitted, unless expressly stated otherwise on the promotion page.
2.4. Participants who provide incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information may be excluded from participation.
2.5. The Organizer may refuse or exclude participation in the event of suspected abuse, fraud, undue influence, or unlawful participation.
3. Personal data and communication
3.1. By participating, the participant consents to the processing of personal data as entered in the form, exclusively for the purpose of conducting and completing the contest.
3.2. The participant's email address may be used by the Organizer for a one-time communication with an offer after the contest has ended.
3.3. Personal data will not be sold or provided to third parties, except when necessary for the execution of the competition or to comply with legal obligations.
3.4. Participants can unsubscribe from email communications at any time using the unsubscribe option in the email.
3.5. The Organizer will not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purpose of the contest and any administrative obligations.
4. Price and conditions
4.1. The prize to be won (and any conditions such as validity, numbers, dates, and/or reservations) are listed on the contest page.
4.2. The prize is personal and non-transferable, unless the Organizer confirms otherwise in writing.
4.3. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or for another prize or compensation.
4.4. Any additional costs (such as travel and parking costs or other expenses) are at the expense of the winner, unless stated otherwise on the competition page.
5. Winner selection and announcement
5.1. Winners will be selected in the manner specified on the contest page (e.g., by lottery).
5.2. Winners will be notified personally within three weeks of the end of the competition via the email address provided.
5.3. If a winner does not respond within the response period set by the Organizer (as stated in the winner's email), the right to the prize will lapse and another winner may be selected.
5.4. The winners may be published on the Organizer's website (for example, with their first name, first letter of their last name, and place of residence). By participating, the participant gives their consent for this.
6. Liability
6.1. The Organizer is not liable for damage resulting from participation in the contest or the use/redemption of the prize, except insofar as mandatory law provides otherwise.
6.2. The Organizer is not responsible for technical malfunctions, delays, or errors (such as malfunctions in internet connections, email filters/spam, or website problems) that may affect participation or communication.
6.3. The Organizer is not liable if emails to winners do not arrive due to incorrectly entered details, full mailboxes, spam filters, or other causes beyond the Organizer's control.
7. Modification and termination
7.1. The Organizer reserves the right to change, suspend, or terminate the contest, conditions, or prizes at any time if circumstances so require, without compensation to participants.
7.2. Changes will be announced via zandsculpturen.nl where possible.
8. Other provisions
8.1. Dutch law applies to this competition and these terms and conditions.
8.2. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
