Experience sand art with your hands
On Monday, January 4, 2027, Zandsculpturen Garderen will once again host a Day for the Visually Impaired. On this day, visitors will be allowed—as a special exception—to touch the sand sculptures. Discover through touch the shapes, details, and textures that bring the Roman world to life.
Blind Day marks the conclusion of the exhibition *The Roman Empire*. After that, the sand sculptures will be dismantled to make way for the new 2027 exhibition: *The Wild West*. So this is your last chance to explore the Roman sculptures with your hands.
There's plenty of space to explore the sand sculptures, and our staff will be on hand to explain the sculptures and the stories behind them.
